NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLEN COVE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public meeting will be held virtually via Zoom by the City Council on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. to afford citizens of the City of Glen Cove and all interested parties an opportunity to be heard concerning a proposed amendment to Section 265-49 and 265-54 of the City of Glen Clove City Code of Ordinances. The proposed amendment will relocate one accessible parking space to the west side of School Street north of Glen Street, impose a fifteen-minute time limit on two parking spaces along the east side of School Street north of Glen Street, and update certain parts of the Code to reflect current, and existing parking restrictions in the vicinity of School Street and Glen Street.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the public will only have virtual access to the meeting, pursuant to NYS Executive Order 202.1, and subsequent orders thereafter. The hearing may be accessed by following www.zoom.us/join and entering webinar ID number 813 4127 2303 and passcode number 667129. The hearing may also be accessed through a computer link located on the home page of the Glen Cove web site (https://glencoveny.gov/city-council-meeting-livestream/), which link will be posted on the web site in advance of the meeting. Anyone wishing to provide public comment can submit comments to [email protected] in advance of the hearing. Public comments received prior to the commencement of the public hearing will be made part of the public record. In addition, live public comment may be received during the duration of the meeting by telephone, by dialing (929) 205-6099 and entering webinar ID number 813 4127 2303 and passcode number 667129. Please note that although all interested persons who dial in will be given an opportunity to speak, all telephones will be muted until such time as the particular individual is authorized to speak.
