Concert attendance draws from many of our Long Island communities as music and dance lovers gather in beautiful Morgan Memorial Park in Glen Cove. The harbor and Long Island Sound are a spectacular backdrop for the evening’s entertainment.

Downtown Sounds Concert Series

Concerts begin at 7:30 PM in Village Square (intersection of School, Glen and Bridge Streets).Concerts are held every Friday in July and August. . Bring your own seating! Rain location is the Wunsch Arts Center on Forest Avenue. Concerts sponsored by Glen Cove Hospital Northwell Health and Bethpage Federal Credit Union among others, and produced through a partnership between the City of Glen Cove and the Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District (BID). Feast of St. Rocco – “The Best Feast In the East”

Each year tens of thousands of people come to St. Rocco’s Parish in Glen Cove to experience “The Best Feast in the East”. They come from hundreds of miles away to taste the famous sausage and pepper sandwiches and the many delicious meals lovingly prepared in our Pasta Restaurant where homemade pasta, meatballs, tripe, eggplant and many other mouth watering Italian specialties are served. In addition, there is a wide variety of food vendors offering an assortment of delicious eats that are guaranteed to satisfy the most discerning pallets.

6th Annual Girls Rising Music Festival

Antigone Rising will be hosting its 6th Annual Girls Rising Music Festival (formerly Beachfest) to benefit Girls Rising 501c3, it’s not for profit organization. The festival will take place at Morgan Park on Saturday, June 22, 2019 (rain date 6/23) beginning at 12 noon to 9pm.  Grammy winning singer songwriter Paula Cole, (“I Don’t Want to Wait”) acclaimed folk singer Lucy Kaplansky and singer songwriter Jill Sobule (” I Kissed a Girl”) will each take the Branch Real Estate Main Stage. Antigone Rising will close out the festival with upbeat and original rock -n- roll.  Throughout the day there will be performances by local youth on the Kidz Bop Youth Spotlight Stage. Also, there will be an empowering Women’s panel moderated by Carol Silva, News 12 LI. Finally, there will be food trucks, a wine and beer garden and vendors throughout the park. The Girls Rising Music Festival is free with a suggested donation of $15. The Game Changer Awards, the main fundraising ticketed event, will take place on Friday, June 21, 2019 at My Father’s Place.
