North Shore Historical Museum

The year 2007 celebrated the centennial of our home, the Justices Court Building in Glen Cove. The restored Courthouse, built in 1907, is listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places and is the permanent home for the North Shore Historical Museum. The Museum was established to collect, preserve, and maintain historical artifacts that tell the unique story of the North Shore of Long Island. Its mission is to promote historical exhibits and displays, issue publications, and organize historical and cultural activities, and events for the public.
