ALERT: East Island Bridge – Closed Bridge Access. See notice.

The work on the forced sewer main along the East Island Bridge is approaching and it will be necessary to shut off access over the bridge and reroute it through Pryibil Beach during the below dates, between the hours of 7am -3:30pm.

Emergency Alert 09-25-2026: BEACH CLOSURE ALERT Due to the impending storm, all City of Glen Cove beaches will close today, Friday, September 25, beginning at 5:00 PM. The beaches will remain closed on Saturday and are expected to reopen on Sunday once the storm has passed and conditions are safe. Please use caution and avoid beach areas during the storm.
