Glen Cove residents, businesses, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend a Public Engagement Event to share input about the future of downtown Glen Cove at the Deep Roots Farmers Market on Saturday, September 2.

Please visit the Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) table at the Deep Roots Farmers Market anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on 9/2 to share your ideas for the future of downtown Glen Cove. The Deep Roots Farmers Market is an outdoor market located at Garvies Point Park on the Glen Cove Creek waterfront on Garvies Point Road in Glen Cove. Your input will be incorporated into the City of Glen Cove’s application for Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant funding from New York State.

DRI is a State program that provides grant funding to revitalize downtowns and reinvigorate local and regional economies. At the Public Engagement Event, residents and stakeholders will have the opportunity to provide feedback about the community’s vision for downtown revitalization and about potential projects and ideas to advance revitalization.

A DRI Public Engagement Event was also held at Downtown Sounds on 8/25. The 9/2 event provides another opportunity for the public to share ideas for the future of downtown Glen Cove.

Anyone with an interest in downtown Glen Cove is welcome to drop by the BID table at the Deep Roots Farmers Market anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on 9/2. Feedback may also be provided by email to [email protected] and [email protected] on or before 9/14.
