TRAFFIC/CONSTRUCTION ALERT: National Grid (as mandated by the State Public Service Commission) will be doing work to accommodate the gas system needs in the Glen Cove Community.
Work will begin daily from 7:30am to 3:30pm on November 2nd and should be completed by the end of November.
There will be NO interruption of gas service to any home or business during this construction.
The affected areas include the apartment building on the North Side of Elm Avenue, West of the LIRR; Elm Avenue; and Cedar Swamp Road.
During the day, experienced construction traffic flaggers/directors will be at either end of the construction and will maintain the flow of traffic. Signage will denote where the sidewalk is closed.
PLEASE ADHERE TO ALL TRAFFIC DETOURS/LIMITATIONS DURING THIS TIME.
