ALERT: Road milling and paving begins Tuesday, April 30th..

ALERT: Nassau County Department of Public Works’ contractor H & L Contracting will begin milling and paving of Glen Cove Avenue from Craft Street to approximately 200 ft. north of Mill Hill Road beginning Tuesday, April 30^th through Friday, May 3^rd.

Please expect delays and detours as this work is in progress.

Emergency Alert 09-25-2026: BEACH CLOSURE ALERT Due to the impending storm, all City of Glen Cove beaches will close today, Friday, September 25, beginning at 5:00 PM. The beaches will remain closed on Saturday and are expected to reopen on Sunday once the storm has passed and conditions are safe. Please use caution and avoid beach areas during the storm.
