Road Closures Near Connolly School

Please note on October 17, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, parts of Elm Ave (at Ridge Dr & East Ave), East Ave (at Smith St & Southridge Dr), and Southridge Dr (at Sand Rd, Collins Rd & Comp Ln) near Connolly School will be temporarily closed for the Breast Cancer Walk-a-Thon. The walk-a-thon will start at the front entrance of Connolly School and follow the roads to the rear entrance.

Emergency Alert 09-25-2026: BEACH CLOSURE ALERT Due to the impending storm, all City of Glen Cove beaches will close today, Friday, September 25, beginning at 5:00 PM. The beaches will remain closed on Saturday and are expected to reopen on Sunday once the storm has passed and conditions are safe. Please use caution and avoid beach areas during the storm.
