Re: City of Glen Cove 2024 Road and Drainage Improvements – Various Locations
Contract No. 2024-013

Dear Homeowner:
This is to inform you that we will be performing road and drainage improvements under the City of Glen Cove Contract DPW No. 2024-013. As part of the improvement, we will be performing curb and sidewalk repairs on Ruby Dr (Valentine Ave to Dead End) and Emerald Dr (from Ruby Dr to Diamond Ct), starting the week of April 14th, 2025, and continuing for approximately 2 weeks, weather permitting. Kindly be advised that some driveway aprons may require replacement due to the curb and sidewalk repairs, and if your apron is impacted, you will not be able to drive onto your driveway for 2-3 days after concrete is poured.

Further, please be advised that there will be no parking on the street between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while construction is underway.
We would appreciate traffic being kept to a minimum as well as reduced speed during the construction period. It may be necessary to partially close the road while construction is underway, however, there will be access for emergency vehicles and school buses at all times.
Every effort will be made to inconvenience you as little as possible.
Your cooperation during the period of construction will be appreciated.
