No Paint Cans in Your Garbage or Recycling

Paint cans — even water-based paints — contain materials that must be disposed of safely. Please do not place paint cans in your household trash or recycling bins.

Glen Cove residents can safely dispose of paint during the City’s S.T.O.P. (Stop Throwing Out Pollutants) Recycling Events, held twice a year.

If you need to recycle paint now, visit paintcare.org/drop-off-sites to find a nearby hazardous waste drop-off location.
