Snowstorm & Sanitation Update

In light of today’s weather forecast, the special trash and recycling pickup for tomorrow, Saturday, will be cancelled.

Please remember it is unlawful to park any vehicle on the even side of public streets. Vehicles may not be parked along either side of Glen, School, or Bridge Streets.

Please park in your driveway, on your lawn, or in one of Glen Cove’s downtown municipal parking lots.

Snow Safety Reminders

• This will allow our Public Works team to safely and effectively plow our streets.
• All residents and business owners are responsible for clearing sidewalks and removing snow around fire hydrants in front of their property.
• Do not shovel or blow snow onto city streets.
• Please keep pets indoors and check on neighbors.
• To report a power outage, call PSEG at 1-800-490-0075.
• Please remember to dial 911 for emergencies only.
