Thank you, Glen Cove. 💧
The temporary sprinkler restriction put in place following the June 12 storm has now been lifted.
We want to thank our residents for their patience, cooperation, and conservation efforts during this time. Your support helped us stabilize the system while crews addressed storm-related issues and continued critical infrastructure work.
As a reminder, water conservation remains important. Glen Cove is in the middle of major water infrastructure upgrades, with more than $48 million invested and programmed into treatment systems, PFAS remediation, and critical well improvements to protect our water future.
At the same time, Nassau County remains under an active Drought Warning, making responsible water use more important than ever.
With the restriction now lifted, the City’s regular watering schedule is back in effect. Please continue to follow Glen Cove’s water conservation ordinance and do your part to help protect our water supply. Allowable hours: 5 – 9 am and 4 pm – Midnight – no watering on the 31st of any month.
