Beaches closed for swimming

Due to heavy rainfall, a Nassau County bathing advisory has been issued for Crescent Beach, Morgan Beach, and Pryibil Beach.

 

Swimming is not advised at these beaches through tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.

 

The advisory is expected to be lifted at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, weather and water quality permitting.

 

We will share any updates as they become available.

Emergency Alert 09-25-2026: BEACH CLOSURE ALERT Due to the impending storm, all City of Glen Cove beaches will close today, Friday, September 25, beginning at 5:00 PM. The beaches will remain closed on Saturday and are expected to reopen on Sunday once the storm has passed and conditions are safe. Please use caution and avoid beach areas during the storm.
