The City of Glen Cove invites you to attend the second public workshop for the Smart Growth Comprehensive Plan with Sustainability Elements (Comprehensive Plan) on January 30 in the Main Chambers at Glen Cove City Hall (9 Glen Street, Glen Cove, NY 11542). The meeting will also include the public hearing of the Comprehensive Planning Committee (Committee).
The Meeting will be in two parts:
1. 7:00 p.m.: Presentation and information board stations.
2. 8:00 p.m.: Committee Public Hearing. Comments from the public will be heard on the Comprehensive Plan.
The purpose of this workshop is to share draft goals and recommendations and provide an opportunity for public input and questions. The public hearing will allow Glen Cove residents and stakeholders to provide comments regarding the Comprehensive Plan. More information can be found on the Comprehensive Plan website, including draft chapters as they are prepared (www.GlenCoveComprehensivePlan.com). Members of the public are encouraged to attend the workshop and public hearing to help shape the Comprehensive Plan.
