Snow is currently falling, and we are in the midst of a storm expected to continue through Monday. Slippery conditions may exist, and we urge everyone to exercise caution while traveling. 

 

As a reminder, in the event of snow, it is mandatory for motor vehicles to be off the public streets, or they will be subject to removal. Please park in your driveway, on your lawn, or in Glen Cove’s downtown municipal parking lots.

 

• This will allow our Public Works team to safely and effectively plow our streets.

• All residents and business owners are responsible for shoveling and clearing their sidewalks and removing snow around fire hydrants in front of their property.

• Do not shovel or blow snow onto city streets.

• Please keep pets indoors and check on neighbors who may need assistance.

• To report a power outage, call PSEG at 1-800-490-0075.

• Remember to Dial 911 for emergencies only and avoid all unnecessary travel.
